At Alicudi time seems to has stopped. The most solitary of the Eolian Islands is populated by approximately 200 people that animate the only inhabited center of the island, a place where the colors crayon of the small houses oppose with the blue of the clear sky. The only beach attainable by foot is the little beach of Alicudi Porto, while the rest of the beaches are attainable only by sea.
The boat tour of the island offers an unbelievable show of beauty with the tall and jagged crags of the Western and Northern coast that climb almost vertical until 550 meters. The coasts are almost all to peak on the sea and they follow a uniform profile without forming coves but only some small sunny beaches.
The rock Scoglio Galera, whose crystalline and uncontaminated waters are rich marine flora and fauna, the Sciara dell'Arpa, an escarpment that goes directly down in sea from the top of the mountain, are the worthy conclusion of a merine route of inimitable beauty.
