Declared for his beauty World Heritage Site from the Unesco, Filicudi is characteristic for her steep slopes, the basaltic rocky coasts often dressed again by brooms. At Filicudi you can find the Cave of the Sea Ox (Grotta del Bue Marino), a small angle of heaven that leaves without breath for the unbelievable game of lights produced by the phenomenon of the refraction. This cave is an oasis of peace, one of the most spellbound angles of the kingdom of Eolus.
From the paleontological point of view it is very interesting the peninsula of Capo Graziano, center of a prehistoric inhabited area of the age of bronze. A little far to the West it is risen in the middle of the sea the tall rock of volcanic origin that is called La Canna (The Reed) for his characteristic form.
